Hey guys, long time no chat! Not really, just kidding it's only been a few days. Anyhow, I was talking with my husband about how it is just he & I for the holidays, and we have no traditions for our family yet. We've decided (or I have rather) that we'll do our Christmas decorating on Thanksgiving, along with watch the Macy's parade. When I was a little girl, I would watch the parade from home, most of the time my mom was there at the parade. My father worked in New York, and she would go visit him for Thanksgiving, and I would stay home & try to find her waving at me. Dad passed away 20 years ago, but I still try to watch the parade in rememberance of those early childhood years. I usually over sleep though, lol.
Does anyone else have any Thanksgiving traditions???

I had lots of Thanksgiving traditions when i was a kid, that changed everytime an older family member passed away. Now i have my own family and we are going to start our own traditions, although we will still watch the parade in the morning and football in the afternoon
This year my husbands brother and sister are coming to see us. They will be leaving Arkansas on Wednesday and driving clear to Colorado to see us for a few days before they have to go back to work.

We actually just got invited to a new friend's family Thansgiving. She has 2 girls (2 & 5) and one boy (4). I am so excited to be having a *big* family dinner with kids and my husband & new friend & everything, it will be much more like home.
